Sea Star Cruising

Whitsunday Cruising

The Whitsunday Island Group is made up of 74 islands located in the heart of the beautiful Great Barrier Reef one of the wonders of the world.

The vast majority of islands have fringing coral reefs that provide safe, secure and serene anchorages for Charterers.

Many of the islands are world famous resort islands including Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Daydream Island, South Molle Island, Long Island, Lindeman Island etc and most of these resort islands welcome Charterers ashore to enjoy their dining facilities, pools, bars, sporting facilities and evening entertainment.

There are however many other islands where you can find an anchorage or mooring in a secluded bay or inlet and just enjoy the serenity of this beautiful part of the world.

Enjoy snorkeling at Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island or Mantra Ray Bay on Hook Island where you will see a huge variety of fish and corals. Don’t be surprised to see dolphins surfing on your bow wave or watch whales during their migratory season (July to September), at most places when you anchor your first visitor will probably be a curious sea turtle checking out the new neighbors.

Anchor at the world famous Whitehaven Beach, voted one of the best beaches in the world and stroll along the pristine silicone sands. The Whitsundays has fantastic fishing and while it is restricted in some areas you should not have any trouble catching a meal to cook up on your BBQ.

You can go dancing on Hamilton Island, play golf or tennis on South Molle, recline on the beach and watch a movie under the stars on Daydream or dine at an exclusive award winning restaurant at Peppers Long Island.

You don’t need a boat licence or any boating experience to be able to skipper our vessels as training will be provided. The islands are within sight of each other making navigation easy and the Great Barrier Reef provides protection from ocean swells.

Relax and enjoy
